A quick survey for damage revealed scuffed leather on the handbreak...

Had the same problem with my pump. I just bought and transported the seal. Left the pump at home!

Secret: Be sure to use some KY Jelly on the seal faces before start-up. This is the best stuff for saving mechanical seals during start-up.

I use the same plastic my grandma uses on her couches. It matches the clear bra.
