I have a blackbox mounted under my rear view mirror which records my speed, gps location on a map, and video. If I'm speeding then I deserve the ticket. If they're lying I've got the data on record. Have yet to discuss with LEO but I'm sure a judge would review the evidence if it came to that... actually got it for all the false insurance claims by drivers who back into you at a stop light as the primary purpose. But this was a nice secondary benefit.

I have the defuser and the detector but I don't speed. Got the company car and don't want to loose it because I'm driving fast. You can get all your spit and vinegar out on the track. Much safer but I love it when I see a guy fly by me in a Ferrari or P-Car. So Bad ***....

I installed a Laser Jammer and Radar Detector last year. After a few months I disconnected the Radar Detector because although it provided a lot of information, I never noticed that it saved me from a ticket......and it was somewhat distracting (Latest Escort 9500....Had Valentine 1 before)
The Jammer on the other hand has prevented 3 or 4 tickets. Maybe the Atlanta area has moved on from Radar?
For those of you who have both, has your Radar detector saved your hide while the Laser was silent?

I didn't realise you could get a speeding ticket in a Prius. We're you going downhill with a full tank of gas?

To the OP - sorry to hear about your most recent ticket. Some of the advice here is very good...

But the rest of this thread is just classic. I especially like how many people try to really help out the OP and politely ignore the multiple elephants in the room. Simply brilliant. This is better than people watching at Starbucks - and we are only at post #116! What ELSE will be revealed????
