303 Aerospace Protectant available from Amazon -
Amazon Amazon

I buy it by the gallon. Applied on rubber weather seals and plastic vinyl protects its original back look and suppleness,

+1 on the 303 Aerospace Protectant. It provides great sun protection. After using the 303 wait 2-3 weeks and top it off with Gummi-Pflege

I've always used Spray Silicone to lube all the rubber bits inside and outside my vehicles. It's what my father did and always seem to work on the door seals and all the stuff under the hood. It makes everything look new and brings back the luster of the rubber parts. I think it works good. I even spray it on my forks and shock of my dirt bike and have never had a seal failure. Maybe the old man knew what he was doing. I really never gave it much thought.

What do you guys think about using Silicone Spray?

Found this on line.

DESCRIPTION:
Silicone spray retards corrosion. Makes cleaning easier and quicker. Dries fast with no greasy or oily film. It saves valuable time while it protects and preserves equipment. Colorless, non-staining, waxless and heatstable-unaffected by temperatures ranging from -40°C to 204°C. It has unusually low surface tension properties.
USES:
Furniture/Auto Trim/Upholstery: Speeds cutting and sewing while eliminating material drag.
It stops bunching and binding and facilitates fabric flow. Printers: Prevents rust on paper cutters,
drills, dies, saws, etc. Prevents the adhesion of glue to equipment. Hardware/Industrial Maintenance: Eliminates sticking problems in plastic and rubber molding. Helps fight
rust on tools and equipment. Prevents adhesion of sticky materials to equipment.

Silicone spray was my go to as well previously but discovered 303 last year on this forum. I prefer 303 because it not "too" shiny. Looks more natural to me and I believe the protective quality is better - good enough for marine/boat applications.

I'm gonna be rebellious and nominate Gummi Pflege. Your BMW dealer has it.

303 has my vote. I use it on my tires too....gives them a natural " new rubber " look....
