Quick question - where do I find the cabin filter to change it? TIA.

It's easier to stay inside this thread--approach the car from the fuel filler side and pull out all the black plastic stuff to the left of the battery. It's tucked in there, behind a small black flap.

I have never changed this in any car I have ever owned. Do you have an issue with it?

I change mine twice a year. 1st change after the spring pollen season is over. 2nd change after the summer/fall rain has finished. This gets rid of the mold spores. By keeping the filters clean the AC/Heater system will not get that dirty sock smell.

I buy the Mann filters for $10.99 @ http://www.autohausaz.com

While you're in there, and with all the closure panels off that surround the battery area, look for your drain holes to ensure that they are clear. If blocked, they can kill a 997.

Hmmm... Who knew the lowly cabin filter had such exotic maintance steps associated with it!

I replaced the cabin filter on my car, it was straight forward like other forumers mentioned.

Just to make sure have a set of Torx screwdrivers/keys, because those are Torx screws that hold the filter bracket.

Also would come in handy is a telescoping pickup tool, in case we drop a Torx screw or two inside the bay while unscrewing them, like what I did

Have fun,

Regards,
