Well distillation means heated to steam and then cooled back to liquid and thus the minerals and other materials are left behind. Which is sort of like the natural process of evaporation and then condensation. But the water in the air that condenses would probably be contaminated by whatever materials happen to be in the air in the vicinity. So, sort of like dirty distilled water if that makes sense.

What is your idea?

The water that condenses from the air would mostly be distilled by definition. As stated, it would pick up stuff from the air, and also from whatever surface it collects on. That should not be confused with water that collects by means of wicking, dripping, etc.

If the condensation is collected in a clean and regulated environment, it should be distilled water.
