Hi Everyone - I am selling my 2006 Carrera S (13K miles). I simply don’t have the time to drive it very often (2 kids under the age of 2 and a job that forces me to travel extensively). I am the 2nd owner. I bought the car from a meticulous owner (CEO of a well-know company) in November 2009. It had 6500 miles at the time and had never seen rain. This gentleman rarely drove it and had just ordered a new GT3. We agreed to run the transaction through his dealer (Hennessy Porsche in Atlanta) and I had the car certified at that time. The CPO warranty expires July 28, 2012. It took me 6 months to find a Carrera S with the specs I wanted. This one is pretty much loaded with the right options (~ $100K MSRP).

Specs:
• 2006 Carrera S – Late May Build – delivered July 2006 – Car has 13.5K miles on the ODO. CPO expires next month.
• Seal Grey/Black Full Leather.
• Sport Exhaust System.
• Adaptive Sport Seats (Memory).
• Self-dimming mirrors.
• Heated Front Seats.
• 19" Carrera Classic Wheels with New Michelin Pilot Super Sport (<150 miles on them).
• Wheel Caps with Colored Crest.
• Sport Chrono Package Plus.
• Nav for PCM.
• Bose Audio
• Remote CD Changer.

Add-ons:
• OEM Short Shifter.
• Alcantara/Aluminium shifter and handbrake (real aluminium – much better grip).
• Premier clear bra (partial hood, fenders, mirrors and lights) installed right after I bought it in December 2009 (http://www.premiermobilegroup.com/)
• Clear side markers
• Porsche embossed tire valves.
• Oil bag (holds 1 quart) in “frunk”.

Maintenance items:
• Most of the service has been done at Michael Stead Porsche in Walnut Creek, CA.
• Car driven at least once every 2 weeks for 40 miles.
• Never had to use the CPO warranty – the car drives flawlessly and has been 100% reliable.
• New Michelin Pilot Super Sport installed < 300 miles ago.
• Alignment done at the same time
• 2 oil changes (Mobil 1) completed in the last 2.5 years of ownership. Last one done
• New front brakes (rotors and pads) replaced when car had 11074 miles (5/28/11).
• Brake fluid replaced 1.5 years ago.
• New battery installed 2 months ago.
• New OEM Air and cabin filters waiting to be installed (included in sale)
• New set of floor mats (New in box) will be included. Current one are still in great shape
• Only used Sonus cleaning products.

Condition of the car:
Exterior:
The car is absolutely stunning! It has no dents or major scratches, has never seen the rain and is garaged all the time.
The clear bra did a great job protecting the front of the car. There are couple of smear on it due to probably preventing some bugs or debris to chip the car (one on the hood the other on the left headlight). This can be probably buffed out with some solution used for Plastic but again this is hardly noticeable and I am just trying to divulge all the information. There are 3 tiny paint chips that are impossible to capture with a camera.
The wheels are scratch free and have been regularly cleaned using P21S.

Interior:
The interior smells absolutely new and shows very little sign of wear. The driver seat has some minor wear on the left bolster something that is inevitable from entering/exiting the vehicle. The passenger seat looks new and the back seats have never been used. The leather has no rips and has been periodically cleaned and conditioned.

All keys, books, window sticker, records, history of ownership, receipts are all included. Title is in hand. The car drives as you would expect with only 13K miles. No expenses were spared to keep it in top shape – mechanically and cosmetically.

I am asking $56K for it OBO. Please no low-ball offers as I am certainly not desperate to sell it. If I can’t get the price I am asking for and find a good home for her, I will just keep it.

Car has been sold and the new buyer just picked it up earlier today. I am really happy that it will be going to an enthusiast who will take great care of her. He flew in this morning and is driving the car back to San Diego. I will be back in a 911 in due time.

For folks that are keeping track of resale values - the car sold for $55.5K.
