Default Will bigger battery be a problem? Operational or warranty problems

H7 group size batteries fit perfectly, eg everstart maxx h7, but this size battery is not readily available where i am. Will there be any operational problems if i put in a larger higher capacity din 88 battery. The battery tray seems to be adjustable and will fit this size battery. Will there be any operational problems? Warranty problems?

There will be no operational issues whatsoever, assuming the battery fits physically.
You should consider that with added capacity comes added weight high up in the chassis.

I can't speak for warranty issues with the car, but I highly doubt there would be any.

See if you can get a distributor to ship you the size you want or check the non-Porsche dealers in your area and see if they have access to the size you want.

Check Walmart or Costco. They have them in the correct size. Unless they are not near your home.

Ok so higher capacity will not affect warranty or operation. It only means that battery will supply more starts and tolerate cold weather better. It will not "overdrive" the electrics or be too powerful if that is your concern. The battery box can accomodate different physical size batteries. Tech had to move clamp inside box to take my interstate.

Get an Audi or VW battery, same OEM, with PERFECT fit, and EXACT SIZE of Porsche battery, and it's 1/2 the price (at least for me it was).
