Default Looking to buy an E63 wagon, need advice from those I know!

I'm coming to y'all on an off topic because i feel I have gotten to know this community and we share many of the same ideas about automobiles.
I'm looking to replace my ’02 BMW 525i wagon, keep the 997, and narrowed it down as follows, car must be available for Euro delivery:

Pros Cons
BMW 328i (F30) wagon realtively cheap, very sensible, good stear
too small

BMW 535i sedan maddeningly complex to spec
not exciting

BMW M5 looks great, fast, special
not a wagon, expensive, not terribly exciting at lower everyday speeds

MB E350 wagon seats 7 - I have 4 girls.
boring

MB E63 wagon sound, great "low" speed excitement
new body style around the corner

So I think I’ve decided on a E63 wagon, silver/black, forged alloys, upgraded AMG leather, illuminated sills and lane departure package. Pretty straightforward spec.

So how do I convert this into a good deal?

I’ve got a San Diego “Euro” specialist working with me (about 4.5% off is the first offer) as well as my local MB dealer.

I’ll lease through my business, 3 years, 7500 miles – I work from home.
Euro delivery for second week of May 2013.
Residual looks to be 59%

Any leads on where to shop the above would be appreciated.

I have had two AMG cars and loved them. The wagons are hard to find since they are not very popular in the US.

The 63 engine is very solid and requires little maintenance. Overall a good choice for your needs with a nice doze of excitement.

Try these two places:

I'll speak to the E63 sedan which I've had about 6 mos and really love.
It handles and feels nothing like the last model (w211 e55) which I also had. It just feels light, planted and sporty.
The motor is a beast and sounds like it too, even with the turbos.
I had it flashed a few months ago and they are claiming like 650hp and 690tq. I don't know but it went from very fast to ridiculous fast after that software was put on.
Do you really need the wagon? The rear seats in the sedan flip down and you can release them from inside the trunk which is very convenient. I know some guys are into the wagon thing but I think the sedan looks just right. There are certainly better deals to be had as well.

I really can't find any negatives to the E63 in sedan or wagon, well apart from a new body style for '14.
And yeah I'm into wagons. It'll make a great Q car.

I know this wagon lacks the power you are looking for but the new Audi Allroad looks very good. I think around $40K.

You could wait for the new Panamera stationwagon. They might even do a "woody"!

My dad was looking for a new agon for my mum this week to replace her 2005 Mercedes E wagon, but today I told him that in the first Q of 2013 it will get a facelift... little updates in the interior and new light in the back and the front... we are going to wait for the 2013 wagons.... but we are in germany and we see every day over 10 e-class wagons and so the old one will losse very fast in value, in the usa it is an other story... I would go for a 2012....! but when you order now and getting a may delivery you will get the e63 with facelift.... great choice enjoy it....love the engine...dorve lasdt week first time in a amg 63 and it was a g63, very bad-***!

don't know if you know or remember chris sanner? he was banned a long time ago.
But I bought a new e63 from him in 2010 I think it was. ('09 63)Good guy to work with. If I ever bought a new mb or P I would call him for an opinion.

sadly, my amg experience ended in lemons and lawyers

that residual looks very good compared to the m5, that's interesting. Seems to me you should be able to o better than 4.5 for ED.
I've been doing major research on ED for mb and bmw lately. 7% seems normal for mb, and mb ED is better than bmw, imho at least

Bruce that is the ultimate wagon, buy it! If you plan on holding on to it for a while get the extended warranty.

I'm also a huge fan of wagons and this would be at the top of my list (assuming I was willing to spend the $). The CTS V Wagon would be a close second, love the looks of that wagon and performance to boot!

Sorry not trying to jump your thread I know nothing about the E63 but have you considered a Volvo wagon?

Volvo European delivery link here http://www.volvocars.com/us/sales-se...s/default.aspx

I have two wagons 94 850 turbo and 02 V70 AWD (not X/C)

Third row seats, roomy & sporty enough in fact my local indie only works on Porsche and Volvo's

Possibly get a IPD stage 3 kit for more fun...

As far as Q car well got pulled over last month and only a warning
