Align and tire advice ?
Some advice please (opinions welcome)
Car is a 2006 997S Cabrio/tip, 28,000 miles
It is driven street non-agressive ONLY.
It has CONTI CONTACT 295/30 19 on it now, fronts are 235/35 at 75% left.
The right rear is showing steel tread on the very inside but there is fair tread on the balance of the tire
The left rear looks just about even across some tread, not to the wear bars.
How should I address this, align to what settings....
and can I replace the rear tires with say, 295/30 19 Bridgestone Potenza S o4 Pole Position or ?? And would there be any advantage or dis advantage to 305's
tnx

That is for the most part normal wear.
When replacing it is strongly recommended that you replace with the same brand and model of tire, or replace all 4.
If price is not an object arguably the best tire would be the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.
(You will also likely hear diametrically opposed viewpoints on what tire to use)

If you like the Conti's so far then adding two new conti's to the back should do it. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Conti's are one of the quieter tires and tend to last longer than others. Should be a good choice to continue with for a cab used for non-agressive street driving. If you decide to switch tires then switching all 4 would be ideal. Since you're not pushing the car to it's limits then it may not matter as much if the tires don't match. As an FYI, some RListers post their front tires with 75% left FS... as they're switch to another brand/type for all 4 tires so one way of recovering some of the switching cost. There's got be a market out there for slightly used 19'' front tires. Perhaps an SAV? GL.

You are not driving aggressively enough. These cars are correctly set up with serious negative camber to allow the kind of cornering that it can do. Hardly anyone can wear the centers and outer treads to keep up with the inner wear that these things experience. It's completely normal.
