iPad mini on the 997

Where did you get the cable to convert the iPad Mini's new "lightning" connector to the stereo audio out? I have one for my iPhone 4 with the 30 pin connector. Can't find one for new style connector.

All the parts are going to Eric for painting early next week. in Satin/Flat Black.
A guy is making me a custom lightning cable for audio out ($80) in the mean time, I'm streaming music using bluetooth to the pre amp.

It's an annoying limitation of iPads... No easy way that I know of to eliminate the swipe requirement in an auto installation.
I'm working on an iPad mini integration for my 996 as well.
Also, I'd love to see pic's of the 90 degree lightning cable when you get it. Is your cable guy interested in making another one?

He doesn't, but you could buy an iPhone 5 chinese dock from ebay for $6 and tear it apart and use that connector as it will work. that was my plan "B"
In regards of the swipe, I'm happy to lock the ipad with a security code, in case it gets stolen...

This is exactly what we are needing to do so my race keeper predictive dash can be installed like this. If someone can get together a parts list and see if this will work on the 996 generation I would love to follow suit.

Any update?

I'm guessing he's doing the following...
iPad Mini -> lightning cable -> amp -> harness adapter
The amp allows him to boost the volume/output of the iPad since the head unit is no longer used.
