Default Duck Dynasty

Here's my Misha ducktail.
Thanks to the folks at Pfaff Porsche Autoworks for the great paintwork.

It really looks great. I understand that it is an insert to replace the "pop-up" OEM spoiler. How is the fit, out of the box? How easy is it to install? Is there a water drainage issue into the air intake? Questions but important and not to distract from a really sharp looking addition to your 997. Look forward to your answers.

Literally drops in right out of the box. Few mm of play which gives a bit of room to center before drilling the mounting holes.
Came primed white and included the vent grills. The grills are oem parts from I think a GT3-RS spoiler.
In fact, I think that's what it is minus the top wing so I don't think the water drainage will be any different than the GT3-RS.
It's more work removing the old one than installing the new one.
One beer & 1 cigar's time to install. LOL
I did remove the harness which has the spoiler motor and 3rd pop up brake light wires and replaced it with the Aero harness which has no 3rd or 4th really brake light. (part # 997 612 670 71) or motor wires.
Now the only thing left is to go to the dealer and have them turn off the pop up spoiler option.
A warning appears on screen at 75mph/120kph and then goes off again below. (there's always something).
But I personally love the lower subtle profile.
The OEM ductail like on the Sport Classic is higher which hides the rear window brake light which is why it has a brake light built in.

Looks great, I have the same ducktail on mine and love it. The dealer will have your error light fixed in a couple minutes. Enjoy...

Looks great! Your ducktail/tail light/exhaust upgrades all go together nice and make your car look very sharp!
Can you show us a pic more from above to see the grills etc, thanks!

Saw this up close on Sunday.. Paint match is perfect, looks great and really highlights how wide the narrow body truly is (although those deep dish wheels help too ) Great job WC
