Pardon if this is common knowledge (I tried searching), but I've been off the boards for about 3 years. Were any nav discs for the 997 after the 2008 PCM 2.1 update?

I had a 2012 nav update installed by my dealer - Suncoast sells it.

It was a pretty huge ordeal, as the PCM 3 (v 1.0) would not accept the upgrade. They ended up replacing the entire radio under warranty, THEN applying it.

Sorry - to clarify, I'm asking about the 997.1. I couldn't find anything for 997.1 on suncoast's site, but i found one for the 997.2.

I was looking into a new nav disk but figured 2008 wasn't worth it. May of 2013 would be if it works in a 997.1 car.

After the 2013 update, on a 997.2, what will be the system version number. I believe the 2012 update was v2.23 ?.

Update on the 997.1 (2005-08) models. The current map updates are dated 5/2013, so they are fresh!

yashagrawal - That's a great question, I'm not exactly sure of the final software version number. It will be 2.2x at a minimum, since that's the minimum requirement for all of the updates. I would assume 2.23 or higher would be the latest available.
