I have a 2008 997 4s with the sport chrono package. When I press the "sport" button, should my exhaust sound louder? I do not have the sport exhaust option. Thanks.

Nope. I have the same year/model also with Sport Chrono but without PSE.

Ok thanks. I just bought the car. My friend has an 06 s and his exhaust sounds louder and deeper when you hit the sport button. He does not have PSE either.

I think your friend *does* have PSE. My 2005 and it has a Sport button but not an exhaust button. In those model years PSE turned on/off with sport mode.

You can tell for sure by looking at the exhaust tips. On PSE the outermost exhaust tips are slightly bigger than the inner ones.

If you want your car to sound like the PSE..do a search on the Inexpensive alternative to the PSE "Gundo Hack" I have it on mine and you will love it!
