I think matte black with Martini decals like on the 918 Spyder N-ring would still be cool. Maybe do an actual carbon wrap on certain sections, hood, doors and mirrors to mix it up a little..
All this stuff is so cheap now... And with both the 3M wrap and the Pasti Dip you can just peel it right off.

But man is this PD stuff easy to work with. I'm thinking about spraying the back of my GT3 seats the OP's anthracite.

Ok that looks plain SICK. I've now been watching video's for 2 hours and I'm contemplating doing this to mine! I thought this was a fad that all the punk kids were doing on the cheap to create a desired effect on their imports. I had no idea this is legit. What a huge market this is and when comparing to doing a wrap it's dirt cheap. I'm also thinking this is a great way to protect the paint while on the track as well!

It does change the look quite nicely.

Same could be said about "gloss" finish, I see teenagers putting "gloss" finish on civics as well.

Your post couldn't have come at a better time. I just got my anthracite Plasti Dip in the mail last week that I'm going to use for my Carrera 2s and for my rock shield on my fenders if I have enough left over after doing the wheels.

My car is a Meteor Gray Cab so other than having different wheels, now I know almost exactly what it's going to look like when I'm done.

I'll post pics when I finish. Prolly do this in the next three weeks.

Awesome look!

Plasti-Dip encourages experimentation. I can't wait to see what others come up with!

I am guessing he used about 4 gallons of it. 1 can will do 2 wheels
