Question re: C2S front bumper lip
I'm trying to find a black spoiler lip for a 997.1 C2S that looks like the lip on a GT2RS --a simple cheap plastic one.
I like the look of the OEM 997 Turbo lip -- will this fit my C2S?
Thanks.

Wolf, Porsche's pretty precise when they balance fore and aft aero forces. The aero kit front bumper and lip create more downforce, so they recommend the rear spoiler too.
Can we tell the difference at most speeds? Probably not. Does it ultimately change the balance of the car, especially at high speeds? Probably so.
It's one of those choices you get to make as an owner.
Regards,
Tony

I may do that. I've also thought about just developing one myself. I've got some friends in various industry related fields that I think I might bounce it off and see what it would cost to get some made. Not sure how big the market it is but it kills me even the 991 was a cheap lip for under $200. Just needs to be durable/sacrificial, priced accordingly.

I am also looking for the same type of front lip and I am cannot believe there is no one that makes a simple black lip similar to the Turbo. I assume it would sell reasonable well given you would not have to go through the aggravation and cost of paint and install.

Armando at the GT3tek just emailed me back...they are working on it, but another 3-5 months before release. Here's hoping!
