Default Airbag System Warning

Out of the blue today, my '05 C2S began displaying "System Warning - Airbag". both front seat belts were engaged at the time. Nothing unusual has been going on, e.g., collision, battery replacement, etc.

Any ideas?

yeah, if no work was performed, no accident, no dead battery, etc, i would say that the front bumper sensor is a likely culprit. read the fault code(s) just to make sure. that might narrow it down.

Hmmm... Wish I had the Durametric to read/interpret the fault code. All I'm seeing is the dash warning: "System Fault - Airbag". Guess I'll need to take it to my indy.
