My daughter wanted to help so she started off on the wheels while I washed the cars then I had her 303 the trim, then she waxed the bumper as I enjoyed a delicious Pliney The a Elder.

Of coarse, I have to watch her and redo whatever she does but it's a good time anyways.

Cheers to that! I try to sneak out to wash my cars. Otherwise my kids come out to "help" and it takes much longer.

If you haven't already, try to find a bottle of Drake's seasonal double IPA called Hopocalypse in 22oz bottles. If you love Pliney, you'll dig it. My usual Whole Foods was actually stashing them in the back and only pulled it out when I asked.

And you have Pliny... Jealous. There's a false economy that makes it hard to get down here. Cheers.

Yeah, the local store here limits two bottles per customer. Luckily the wife has developed a taste for it so she goes grocery shopping every Wednesday during delivery time.

Have you tried "Simtra"? Also delicious. I'll look for the drakes next time I go to the store.

It's the golden age for beer lovers right now. So many great choices.

In completing the circle, I suppose Vesuvius Beer (Full Sail) should be part of the ritual. First a Pliny the Elder, then wash the Porsche and finish up things with Vesuvius - sort of poetic.

Love how beer is finally happening in the Bay Area. I'm from Seattle and it was slim pickings when I first moved here. I'll check out Simtra and Vesuvius. New Anchor IPA is out, nice if you like maltier IPA's. Green Flash Imperial is my favorite locally available beer.

Funny you know the Pliney delivery day too. It's sold out before the weekend at both of our Whole Foods and other local grocery that carries it. However one has let me order a case in advance of delivery before.

Had way too much Green Flash (West Coast IPA) yesterday, myself. Damn, it's good, though.

Never been to the Pi bar. Perhaps an after work excursion?
