Ok, guys I wanted to clear the air on some misguided info I have learned from forums.

A while back I purchased a 997.2 GT3 RS rear bumper and had planned on fitting it to my C2S.

After reading countless treads about WB rear bumpers not fitting NB cars I gave up and purchased GT3 NB front and rear bumpers.

I recently got my 997.1 NB GT3 stuff painted and was in the process of installing them when I decided to check my RS bumper to see how much it was off.

WELL... low and behold it bolted right up!!!

And yes it is a RS bumper, it has a HUGE RS logo behind the plate mount.

After looking around more, I found I wasn't the only person who has figured this out.

Unfortunately I already spent a but load on 997.1 stuff and abandoned the 997.2 conversion. Now I have decided to go back to the conversion but have to sell all the parts due to misguidance from the forums...

the gt3rs fits but around tailights the nb was a 1" tigher

I didn't have taillights in mine, but it lined up everywhere else fine.

LOL, still beating my head against the wall on which way to go...

I LOVE the 997.1 front, but LOVE the 997.2 rear lights.

Not fond of the 997.2 RS rear bumper or wing.

Though about having my body guy molding the lights into the 997.1 rear bumper.
