Is 114k too many?
I love the look of this car, owner did a great job IMO...but is 114k miles too many miles to buy it? Curious to hear your views. Thanks.

Three Wheelin'
Seems to be a nice car with some nice upgrades. I have just started looking,so I don't know about the mileage. I think if it had a good PPI and the price was right...you should be good to go. It is good seeing cars that have really been driven. I think that if I found the right high mileage car,I would get it and put the savings in the bank in case it needed a new engine one day.

That's a lot of car for the money. Look at the upgrades too, you can tell he probably loved that car, i'll bet maintenence is on point.
They can last. My local Indy in Panama City, Florida recently worked on an 05 997S with over 267,000 miles.

That's a sweet 997! What can you buy at that price that would look and drive that good? As long as it checks out mechanically I wouldn't let the mileage scare you.

I just sold mine with about the same Kms. About the same dough too. To accidents, fixed by the dealer. A rim and tie rod, and a trailer hitch in the bumper hood, wing. If you have a good indy, it would help.
I just did and air bag thingy in the bumper. $500 bucks. Coils and plugs 1o,ooo kms's ago. New rotors were needed, Al in the parts were about $1000 plus install. I see no problem with a well maintained vehicle if the supporting paperwork is there. No paperwork? no deal.

Not a bad looking car and the price is good! If PPI checks out, go for it!

Just my counterpoint but I would consider $25K top for that car. A low-mileage base '05 could be had in the mid 30's right about now I would imagine, so $5K less doesn't seem like that great a deal considering the risk of some major repairs in the offing, not to mention the difficulty reselling it unless you drive it 1000 miles a year and keep it for 10 years. If I was a DIYer maybe I would think differently.

In my experience, mileage means nothing. It all depends on how well it's maintained and like most already mentioned, owner seems to have taken pride in ownership and must have kept up with maintanance.
