Upgrade itch...
So, I am pretty happy with my 997.1 C4S, it's been serving me well, it's been incredibly reliable (most reliable car I've ever owned), it's been doing great on track (3-4 times a year), and in general I can't really complain.
BUT, you know the feeling... kinda feel like to upgrade. Problem is that I could go two ways, another Carrera, either GTS or 991, and still use the car as daily, occasional track, OR, to go GT3 (and maybe TT) route, and then need another car (like Cayenne) for daily.
GT3 prices are absolutely ridicolous now, they've come down slightly due to more 991s in the market, but it's still above what I'm willing to spend.
GTS and 991s have dropped LIKE A ROCK, and seem to be much better value, but not sure if it's truly an upgrade.
TT is another option I have looked at, maybe a good in-between compromise, but not sure how well it'd be on track (albet I love my C4S on track).
What do you guys think?
PS. Whatever I get, would be the sports car for the next 5-10yrs, I am not a serial upgrader like most.

No, not mine. Just one I noticed while I was looking for a 997 C4s recently. Another user on the forum pointed it out too.
I thought it was well priced, and I love the color and seats.
That being said, I know nothing about the dealer and have only seen pics of the car.
If you need a PPI done on any car in the Toronto area, I recently used Hunter Motorsports for my new 08 C4s. He has a great reputation, and has very fair prices. They took the car in with very little notice, and completed a very thorough examination.
Highly Recommended!

Definitely the GT3......unless you plan on using it as a DD. If DD then either a GTS or just keep what you have and buy another car to add to the stable.

Do some test driving! It's all about what really speaks to you, right? I've seen some posts of people "downgrading" from a 991 to a 997 because they dislike the larger GT car feel of the 991, so sometimes newer isn't better.
You didn't mention a 997TT, have you considered them? It would offer more performance without being harsh like the GT3, so you could still daily drive it. They are also quite a bit cheaper than the GT3.

There's an '06 supercharged RUF R-KOMPRESSOR C4S (black over tan) which was a US car, currently for sale in Canada with fewer than 20,000 miles on it and a factory GT3 Aero kit. Any mods you have on your current car would transfer over and it would give you about 100 HP more than you have without any turbo lag. Might be worth a look. The ad is in the marketplace.

Sounds like your current car is a keeper. I say hold on to it as it clearly has good genes and figure out what would nicely supplement it. Nothing like having two different cars that you can choose from. It doesn't necessarily need to be more powerful but something with a different driving experience.
