Default rubber floor mats

There are offerings by Lloyd & weathertech in addition to OEM

which did you go with?

I need them more for sandy feet/flip flops over mud/snow rain (I drive to the beach with my kids but I dont use the car much in the winter)

I have WeatherTechs in the front. OEMs in the back. The WeatherTechs seem to be holding up pretty nicely. I like that they can be hosed down and look fairly good very easily.

I myself need to find something in the back.

I have had 8 sets of Weathertech's over my last 8 vehicles. Sand and snow, and leave them in all year. Easy to clean, scrub up like new every time.
Wife punctured one of her's. Spoke to the Canadian distributor at the Toronto car show. He came to my house and exchanged the mat.
Wife is car blind. Fairy's clean her car. Extinguish the need gas light, and all other warning lights.

Weathertech is the only way to go. But you probably figured that out by now!

I would opt for a small shop vac vs rubber mats. Chances are you'll end up spilling some of the sand onto the carpets taking the rubber mats out to dump them anyway.

I have the rubber Porsche mats in black from Suncoast. I am very happy with them. (Photo from Suncoast site, not my car)

I agree. I have had both Weathertech and the Porsche mats and I prefer the Porsche mats. Nothing wrong with Weathertech, but I think the Porsche ones look much better and seem to hold up just as well as Weathertech. If I got the Weathertech, I would get the regular mats and not the liner type mats, unless of course I was going to use my 911 as farm equipment.

I have these too. Work great.

As for WeatherTech, owner David MacNeil is very-very generous to our Chicago Region PCA. Great guy. His sons are great too.

The Porsche mats look great but the Weathertech have a dramatically better catch and protect design. If all you want is to keep your shoe heel off the carpet, the Porsche looks cool, but they sure won't contain water/stuff like the "walled" Weathertech mat. Sure you'll still get a little sand on the carpet but a fraction of what you would with the flat factory set.

I have the Porsche ones too for my 997 and my CTT. They work perfectly and look great! Easy cleaning
