OT: Durametric 6 not working on Windows 10

Durametric works fine on my Windows laptop... I have the latest Windows updates. No issues at all. On top of that, I have had multiple folks stop over and use the Durametric software on their cars to do a variety of diagnostics and resets.... all worked flawlessly and on different models.

Thanks for reopening this discussion; I just bumped up against an issue and determined that the following is required to properly install the software:
Having just experienced an incompatibility issue installing 6.6.3.5 on a laptop with the latest iteration of Win 10, I believe that the issue the individuals experienced in the past had to do with the requirement to turn Win 10 / 11 S Mode OFF in order to properly install the software. More information is here regarding turning S Mode off.
Durametric
S mode has something to do with MS store downloads / purchases. In my case, I felt that it wasn't necessary to have S mode on BUT be aware that there could be security issues that your operating system may be exposed to if you turn S mode off and transact with the MS Store: you will be unable to turn S mode back on after it is turned off.
That said, the Durametric software is highly kluge and limited in capability with the 997.2 models, but it does have some some function which has been memorialized here. However, most of those coding options are only available for the 997.1 and will not work on the 997.2.
