Usually I park Porsches in the garage 99% of time. Had parked in drive way while cleaning out garage...

wife (who does not like too much attention) :

"Please Put your Porsche back in your pants, you are making the neighbors jealous" :^)

In traffic, guy that was driving behind me, pulled up next to me, leaned over, yelled out window:

"That rear-end! It's just so.... (making womanly hip shape with hands) perfect!"

Yesterday at a red light, older guy next to me yells over.
"Your car is what my car wants to be when it grows up!"

From an Oregon gas station attendant: "Wow! That's a supercar!" He even let me pump my own gas.

I took my daughter with me to pick up pizza tonight for dinner. When I started up the engine, she said, "now THAT sounds GOOD!" So, I punched the SPORT button, so we could listen to the beautiful notes all the way to the pizza place.

I have a black C2S, that my son described as "the car from which light cannot escape".

I tried that in Jersey once, and it nearly led to fisticuffs!

Usually when I come with the Porsche the gas station attendant rush to the car. However, I'm tired of them not figuring out to twist the nozzle 997 style to get the fuel in so I just do it myself The reaction on their faces is usually "Really?"

Where I live there are many luxury cars and I guess few fuel up themselves

I really didn't think I'd have anything to contribute to this thread since I only drive mine ('11 GTS cab, 6 speed, white with matching seat backs and center console, black stone guards and center locks) on weekends in the "country" and as far from civilization as practical, rarely to be seen by another human (cars and coffee not included).

Anyway coming back from a beautiful "top down" drive yesterday from the southern part of my county, I came back through a more populated area. I'm sitting at a traffic light when I hear (over a loud speaker like the police use) in a slight southern drawl, "Wow, now that's a pretty Porsche!" My head quickly swivels right and left to see where it came from. So did about 5 five other people at the light. Then they started staring at me! I see a guy over my left shoulder in a big SUV looking down at me and he gives me a wave. I wave back with a "Thanks" and can't wait for the light to change. I think the black stone guards did it.
