PPI for Cream White 997.2 in Fort Payne, AL
Does anyone know of someone capable of performing a PPI on a 997.2 in Fort Payne, AL? Nearby cities are Chattanooga, TN and Huntsville, AL.
Also, if anyone has general comments about the car or knowledge of it, I would appreciate any comments.
Thank you.

I'd be very cautious with this one...this is no cream puff but perhaps that is reflected in the price.
Good luck with the chase and glad you are being prudent ordering up a PPI!

I smell nothing but trouble with this one, (sorry to be a downer). This owner doesn't seem to be a Porsche enthusiast in any way- only talks about the power and what he "thinks" is the color name. Insurance totaled the car previously, rebuilt title, yet he claims the car was towed to car shows. I'd be shocked if maintenance schedule was any where near being followed outside of oil changes at Jiffy Lube. Please!
Go in eyes WIDE open on this one.

Come on. all you have to do is check his ebay activity. this is a car dealer. Hes got everything listed in canadian $.
Who knows what he is up to. You should go get the car, look at the title, and take it to a dealer and have them look at the history and do a complete check, On the car and him

Cool car, love the color combination, and all but you know what they say about "if it seems too good to be true" and "there is no such thing as a cheap used Porsche."
How would a car have this many miles (73,000 in 5 years) if it was being towed to car shows? It was clearly a daily driver. Even if it was low miles...Who tows a Carrera S, arguably the most daily drivable sports car out there, to car shows? Who takes a C2S to "car shows" anyways? If someone towed a C2S to Cars n Coffee Nashville they'd look like an ***. It's not a GT2 that is appreciating in value while being difficult on the road for some.
This car may have been on Manheim auctions (fun light reading) recently because it looks familiar.

Airbag and PSM lights are on. This car has issues already.
I would not even bother to look at this one. The color is one of the worst as well (along with that macademia brown).

If the seller checks out, and the PPI somehow tells a story where the car didn't get water above the brake discs, it might be a good buy - but not at $34k.
Let us know what you end up doing & good luck!

Check out the scuffs on the doorsill.
It's a shame, the original buyer put a lot of thought into that car's spec. (compared to the typical black/black) and it has lived a hard life.

as others said stay away from this car
I like to also add that if this is a show car the plastic in the frunk looks real dull - it would be all polished and shiny in a show car - also the inside is not that in good shape it has some wear so again for a show car this would not be the case.

"Run Forrest Run". Look at the damage to the drivers seat. What's that little switch hanging out of the driver's side console? The ad is filled with BS and this is the type of water damaged car that we are warned about. I bought a high mileage 09 C2 and I wouldn't touch this car with a 10 foot pole.
