My passenger window seems to not be sealing correctly.... I checked the window seals and they still seem to be in proper working order, as in they are still flexible and not hardened or cracked.

Has anyone had issues with this? I would assume the window itself may need some adjustment to seat in the right position when closed?

I do not have water leaks into the cabin but when washing the car you can see the soap and water between the seal and the glass, which is not present on the drivers side.

I heard sometimes clear bra on rear view mirror makes whistle noise on high speeds. Not sure bra installed on your car.

Doesn't take much of a misalignment/gap between window and it's seals to result in noise at speed. The cause and remedy would be the question.

I do have clear bra on side mirrors. Which I really want to take off as it has some serious grime lines

Are you sure it's the window seal? If your car is a 997.1, it could be your mirror. Some cars had a real problem with that. I have a friend with an '06 and his mirrors howl like banshees at certain speeds.

My mirrors whistle pretty loud (06 cab) so I put headers and xpipe etc - seems to help.

If you are unsure if it's the window or mirror you could put a strip of blue tape over the front facing seam of the mirror and see if the whistle stops.

There's an easy DIY on the silicone bead fix for that if it is the mirrors.

I had my mirror whistle fixed under warranty on my 05 back in 07 when I bought it used. It was howling loudly! It was a known problem on the early 997s. It was completely eliminated. My vague recollection is that they sealed up the "split" between the top and bottom of the mirror. I have heard of people using clear silicon to do this. You might give it a try. Not sure how the original owner could have lived with it for more than a few days.

Old joke: I once had this loud grinding coming from my transmission. Cost me $4,000 to get a stereo loud enough so I couldn't hear it anymore.

06 C2 with passenger mirror whistle. I did the above DIY silicone fix documented either here or in 6speed, can't remember. Very easy and worked like a charm.
