325/30/19 on stock 997.1 wheels?

325/30/19 on stock 997.1 wheels?
Any issues with running a 325/30/19 super sport on the factory 19" rear wheels paired with 235/35/19 fronts for street driving? I think the stock rear wheel is 12" wide. Tire Rack says 11-12" rim width for the 325 tire.

I think you'll be inviting all sorts of issues with a tire that large.

Aside from ABS which I'm not certain will be an issue; depends on tire diameters, you will have a host of issues.

It can be done. However I don't understand why you'd want to do it???? I'm with RAudi.

The GT2 runs 325, same wheels as the 1RS. The GT is less understeer than the 1RS.
I think with correct geometry and GT2 swaybar (I would also go 245s front, even 265s but it requires mods) it would work but unless it's for the track... Not really any point.

I understand all the comments stated above but on my "ex" .1 RS I ran Hoosier R7 255/35/18 and 335/30/18 and at times Hoosier slicks 255/645/18 and 320/650/18 and never an issue.

I think you also have to consider offsets and tire brands. You may be able to get away with a 325 on the rear with the spacer removed and the right tire. However the front's should change also. I have no idea what people run on the fronts as I've not gone down that rabbit hole.

my 7.1 had 325's (mscp1's) on it when i bought it. spacers removed. slight rubbing on big bumps. it looked pretty cool but was very uneasy on the track. felt like the tire would roll under the wheel too much. went back to 305's (mscp2's) and the car definitely feels much more planted/stable now.

I’ll expand a bit. You could run them but unless you make other changes you’ll have issues; rubbing, handling, balance, to state a few. What you have to ask yourself, “is the reason why I’d like to do this worth the road I’m about to embark on?” This question only you can answer.
If your answer is yes it’s my money and I don’t give a **** what others say, then go for it. Make all the necessary adjustments and run the 325, heck I ran 345/30-19s at one point (now I’m on 335/30-18). Then again, I made quite a few other changes in order to make it work.
My advice is, go for it! By this I mean, go for making all the necessary changes in order to run 325s.
Experimenting/modding/customizing these cars, imho is one of the funnest parts of the whole experience. However, slapping on a pair 325s in the rear and leaving the rest of the set up as is, it’s a no go.

My rear 305's are corded and the 325 size is cheap right now on clearance w/TR. My street tires/wheels are basically just to get my car to and from events. I figured if the 325's fit with no repercussions I'd just use that size and save a few bucks.

I am in the same boat. However with a 997.2. I am running 305 for track but wanna street the 325 since firestone Indy 500 are dirt cheap.would run 245/35 front and 325-30 rear...
anyone running this set up with no issues? Don’t care about tracking with this set up. Strictly street....
