Finishing up rebuilding 2 sets of E88's 18x9 and 18x12 for a 997 NB. Outside of NT01's 245/305 for track use which one set will definitely be getting are there any more streetable options that work on a 997 that wont burn out as quick and are not as noisy?

I run 245/315 Michelin PS2 in 18 on that same size E88. I got about 10k+ miles and two track days out of the last set.

Yup, NT01's are unbearably noisy on the street for me. Pretty much the same for Toyo R888R which are otherwise similar to the NT01. You might try Michelin Sport Cup 2's, although they are a bit more pricey.

From what I can tell the PS2 is no longer available in the 315/30/18.

I didn’t think they made Sport Cup 2 in 18” figments?

There are 18" Sport Cup 2's but the widest one listed is 295. The selection is better in 19" and 20".

Michelin 4s, replaces the super sports.

Tire Rack has 315/30/18 PS2 in stock, and I just bought a set of rears a month ago. They may be an older tire but I don't have a lot of complaints. They do get greasy on track after a while but I primarily drive on the street.

They don't make a PS4 in a 315 unfortunately.
