Default WTB 997.1 or 997.2 GT3 RS

Looking to add a 997.1 or a 997.2 GT3 RS (not interested in non-RS cars - sorry) to my stable. I am a Porsche guy and PCA member for 20+ yrs. I am looking at a few RS's at dealers, but wanted to check with the RL community first before I pull the trigger on any specific car.

Here is what i am looking for:

1. 1 or 2 owner car
2. Clean DME or few ignitions in range 1 or 2
3. No paint work
4. No significant mods. Bypass pipe ok
5. No track time. Light DE ok. Just need to inspect inside CL hubs
6. Under 12k miles
7. All colors are ok. However, I have little interest in the color black. I would prefer a PTS color as i have other PTS p-cars
8. Required options: Lift, buckets, A/C and Xenons. Prefer steel brakes, but PCCB will be ok too. No sofas.

I will arrange PPI and shipping.

I can be reached at

Steve

248-217-4622 (mobile) feel free to send me texts

I may copy this link into other RL sections such as RL Market Place section

I would recommend reaching out to Switchcars. They should be able to find you what you are looking for.

He found my PTS red in 5 days and an even nicer Mexico Blue with matching Clubsport cage with 2,000 miles that looked like it was put in bubble wrap already this spring. He knows his 997RS's and where they are and has helped many of us out over the years. Worth every penny..

Perfect. I just emailed him on his website. I would love a Mexico Blue 997.2 RS to match my 991.2 GT3 in Mexico Blue.

That would be a special combo. It was astonishing. No wax on it, rubber nibs on the tires still. Had a black DZL package like mine..

You will need to focus on 7.2rs only. 7.1rs did not offer lift, nor buckets (however a lot have installed gt2 or euro Gt3 buckets since). And, no pts on 7.1rs but they had a couple standard colors unique to the 7.1rs that are a bit "pts-like"; that is if you like orange or green.

You are correct on the lack of buckets and lift on the .1RS. The pumpkin and frog colors are still sexy to me.

I wish I could get this:

https://www.cncexotics.com/details-2...87s792373.html

I have dealt with this dealer and it was a very smooth experience. They are very accommodating for PPIs and etc + they are just cool people. I posted this in the GT3s for Sale section. If I had different circumstances right now (work/garage space...), I would definitely have this car in a shop getting a PPI. Note the seats too. A nice upgrade if everything checks out.
