Would the D4 3.8 street kit (street headers, intake manifold, dual cone carbon airbox, Cobb Accessport with tune) work with my Sharkwerks center muffler?

And what is the crack pipe?

Yes but it would be very loud, as you would have no mufflers. The best setup for everyday driving is street headers with valves going to an oem center muffler or our lifetime muffler

The crackpipe is our version of an inconel megaphone center muffler delete. It was a request of a cup team for something light, loud that didn’t lose power but actually made power.

We have lots of comparison dyno's for the 997.2 GT3 can make them for the 997.1 Gt3 as well if anyone is interested.

Here's 997.2 GT3 Stock, 997.2 GT3 with the full kit and 991.2 GT3 all on the same dyno measured under similar conditions...

would the system (intake, headers, tune) work with an akrapovic center muffler and be somewhat reasonable for normal road use?

It would for sure work with an akra center muffler. It will be completely reasonable, no drone, keeps valves all that, just has to be a center muffler, not a muffler delete.

Wanted to check in on this again and see if there were any more updates, info, or data on this package. Very interested and wanted to see if any members here have gotten this installed and tested that can chime in with their thoughts and experience.

a bunch of them are getting installed as we speak. 997.2RS in Toronto, 997.2 Gt3 without our exhaust jn California, 997.2 Gt3 in North Carolina with our street headers. A 997.2 Gt3RS in Europe with stock exhaust. A couple for 4.0 and 4.2L are getting shipped this week, so plenty of data coming in the next few weeks!

Thanks for the update and I'm excited to see more reports from your customers. You may not have the answers yet, but do you know if the performance of the D4 power upgrades "stack" with the performance increase of increased displacement? Or is some of the torque and hp performance "melded" or "lost" when both upgrades are done together?
