Default Dundon Resonance Intake Manifold Teaser...

Hi Guys,

We love the new GT3/RS but the 996/7 GT3 and RS hold a special place in our heart. We've been working on this Resonance intake for over 2 years and finally got all the math to work the way we wanted it to! Will release for preorder for 997.1 GT3/RS and 997.2 GT3/RS before the New Year. We're finishing up the 996 GT3, currently, needs a completely different manifold to clear the topography of the 996 GT3 engine.

Dundon 997 GT3 Resonance Intake Manifold

First up the 997.1 GT3/RS 3.6L.

60+whp with Dundon Header and Resonance Intake Manifold (w/ Cobb Tune)

35whp over headers alone...

Next up is the 3.8L 997.2 GT3, 41lbft and 65whp gains for Headers and Resonance Intake Manifold

997.2 GT3, Stock, Dundon Headers, Dundon Headers+Resonance Intake Manifold (w/Tune)

To put this in context here's the 997.2 GT3 Stock, 997.2 GT3 with the Kit and a 991.2 GT3 stock on here just for comparisons sake...

997.2 GT3 Stock, 997.2 GT3 headers/intake manifold kit, and 991.2 GT3 Stock

Cup applications we're working to complete, tuning will be required, for those interested in a full Motec M150 plug and play for their cups, get in touch with us. Will add power to 3.9L/4.0L/4.2L engine builds as the physics is the same...

Get better than 991.1 GT3 power in your 3.6L and 991.2 GT3 power in your 997.2 3.8!

Owning a 996 GT3, 997.2 3RS and 991.2 3RS is becoming very expensive with you around here......

Very exciting stuff!! Wish we could get some more videos with dundon street headers on 3.6 GT3. Been on the fence for too long and this may push me over.

ok, I'll admit I know nothing about engines, etc. and I turn into a special needs person if anyone places a tool in my hands.

I have never been a mod guy either (probably as a result of my ignorance in general, and not being able to do any myself...) but a little more speed is always interesting

from the graphs it looks like more torque and HP gains - is this correct?

and if so, is there a down side to doing this to our cars? I'd love it to be quicker/faster but not if it jeopardizes the engine's longevity, etc.

Based on the 4.0 design? That's well known to add HP even to a 3.6 with a tune...

pretty badass... need to confirm fitment on a 964 air-cooled motor :-)

Jaime, does you manifold still use the vacuum actuated flapper valves in the dual resonance chambers just like OEM? Do you have any data to show there would be a quantifiable benefit (compared to the 997Cup manifold) on a turbocharged 4.0L Mezger running 997Cup heads and 997.1 intake variocam with an 8200 redline and 825whp output at 1.1 bar boost? ECU is a M150 so variocam and resonance flaps are fully controllable. Probably not an easy question for you to answer but thought I'd check. Thanks!

Here's a teaser for you @GBX :
View this post on Instagram

@pissedpuppy More power (like, a LOT!) and more torque. There's no detriment to the longevity of the engine. We're just helping it breathe more efficiently. No extra revs, no higher compression, etc. Just more air in the cylinder.

@powdrhound Not likely to make much difference on a boosted platform. Boost would overwhelm any secret sauce this makes on an n/a car.

@runet That's an early version. The CAD drawing and dyno graphs are from the one we will bring to market. It's been quite a journey to get here, and we're excited to share it with you all!
