Ive been browsing a while and haven't seen anything below $3000 even when on sale for a 4.0 rs clutch conversion kit. Or are you talking about piecing the parts together and having it be cheaper?

The "kits" are expensive because whoever is selling them has their markup factored in. You can easily purchase the individual parts yourself if you wanna save money.

Cheapest I can find the clutch setup alone is $3682.94, part number for the FW bolts has superseded to 928.102.151.02 as well.

$4166 for the r/p and the 6th gear pn says discontinued and I don't see an updated part number for it.

Those will be the same equivalent part numbers but they likely aren't oem porsche parts (or OEM porsche supplier parts), changing the pressure plate option to sachs increases the price 50%.

Their description says "All New from OE Manufacturers (disc, release bearing, and pressure plate are SACHS)." Seems like it's worth a call to confirm with them.

I see now in the description it says pressure plate is sachs, however if you hit the dropdown and select the Sachs pressure plate price goes up to nearly $3000.
I agree, definitely worth a call to clarify.

So if you just wanted the FW / Pressure plate and were keeping your existing clutch in an RS car, which of those parts from the Clutch listing would you need ?

What is the average cost to have a transmission upgraded with the 997.2GT3RS ring and pinion / 6th gear? I know the ring and pinion is around ~$4500 and 6th gear ~$1400. What about labor?
Thanks

With inflation, now it’s probably around $15k! 😂
