Once in a while, taking the GT car out for a track day is still an awesome experience.
Totally understand the thought. I'm a member at a private race track (Apex Motor Club in Phoenix). I leave the race cars there, so only time I'm dealing with a trailer is when I go race at another track. The problem I had when I tracked my previous GT3rs (997.2 and 991.2) was you could never get enough camber in them for the track and then if you did, it would chew up the tires on the road quick. Someone needs to invent a button in these things for street and track camber. hahaha. I do totally understand however if you want the simple part of only 1 car to do it all. Luckily, I don't have to do that. I do have a new 3RS coming though and I'm sure it will do a few laps.

I think it's definitely one of two people.

I'm not an old school 997 GT3 guy that tracked with you guys before but when I get my 997 GT3 i would be down for a organized track day of fellow drivers and cars.

Tracked my previous 997 GT3 a lot and in recent years with @DD GT3 RD

LOLOLOL, my man. So true.

Yesterday. I've been transported back in time to 2011. Feels great.

Beautiful sight to see a real RS 4.0 on track working hard...where it belongs. Keep it up!

I Just came across this thread. The track day idea sounds great. If we can get an interest list going, and have enough people, we can perhaps rent out BW for a mid-week day.

Well done OP.

Own a 4.0 myself and arguably rarer cars too. In a single sentence: "DRIVE THEM ALL".

Mileage has zero effect in the long run for the right cars. Enjoy them all, your older self will thank you!

Now you already have the money pic of a great car at de la Sarthe... I wanna follow your path in due course!!

My wife and I are definitely up for a Mezger DE challenge of some sort. We'd be bringing a 997.1 RS (Sharkwerks 3.9) and a 996 GT3.

I might be able to get a "series sponsor" and we can do some tongue-in-cheek T-shirts to commemorate it.
