Bumperettes saved my rear…
Got rear ended today. Was stopped at a light and a van hit me from behind. The left bumperette took most of the damage. The bumper itself is scratched a bit, so it will have to be painted anyways, but still. I had thought about deleting the bumperettes before. Glad I kept them on. It was a pretty good whack. Fortunately the car was in neutral and moved a bit forward when she hit me.

Good so minor. Make sure you pull the bumper and check the crash bar and bumperette.

Price a bumperette from Suncoast is $245 then add in a good color match paint shop. The rest is the cost of convenience for ordering online and shipped to your door ready to be installed.

Doesn't look too bad and hopefully it's just the bumperette.

I would let a Porsche approved body shop handle the entire thing if it's not going to be on your dime. That way, you get a lifetime guarantee for everything (paint chipping fading, cracking, etc...).

This is my plan. She also scratched the bumper too, not just the bumperettes.
