Default Header stud install - how far to thread them in?

As title states -
Installing new Dundon headers with stud kit and I am not clear how far the studs should be threaded in using double-nut? Do i keep going til they stop?
Thanks in advance!

Just did mine with Dundon. Thread them in till they bottom out. No need to crank them in. When you install head studs in an engine it is the same process- hand tight then torque sequence.

If your thread holes are clean, you should be able to turn them in by hand all the way to the bottom or very close. They don’t need to be double nut and cranked down.
