Ok, going to start a thread for seat inserts. Thinking if my wife isn't going to bestow me with seat inserts this Christmas, then I'm going to throw a set under the tree with her name as the giver. I'll be, "You shouldn't have. These must have cost you a fortune. I thought you didn't like getting me auto gifts for Christmas".

Reached out to Justin Placek and he got back to me with a 2.900 Euro + 200 Euro S/H. Comes to $3,340. A big ouch. P1 Design is $1,550 + whatever S/H is. If you want that memory foam, which makes it closer to OEM than additional charges. P1 doesn't have the exact fabric I want and Justin also installs those grommets, which I like, for no extra charge.

P1 sent me a few samples but this is the direction I'm headed towards, the reverse racing and that fabric is from Relicate. Maybe Justin can get that. If not, then I can buy and send to P1.

2900 Euro for bucket inserts is complete madness.

I also think the blue clashes. No other blue on the car to tie it in. Just my opinion.

Wow $2900 euro is way too much. P1 prices includes memory foam right?

IIRC P1 Design’s memory foam was only offered on newer LWBs and wasn’t available for the folders, but maybe that’s changed.

When I ordered my P1 Design's memory foam wasn't available for the Folding bucket seats. My P1s do have more padding, so they are more comfy than OEM.

Here is my P1, I was hesitant at their prices, those othered are crazy expensive….

These are in my Aqua/Red, the pictures were taken in my garage with bright LED lights, the alcantara center console and ebrake look weird color wise but are normal…. Also excuse the dust, like black if it’s not super clean you can see it and during the summer it’s not covered in the garage all time, as I’m prob driving it!

Would anyone make a thinner cushion? I'm currently running some Sparco lowers and love the height without needing aftermarket brackets.

Not feeling that combo in your car. I would go with pepita, pasha or something less colorful.

WOW - $2900 EUROS??? so like $4750 Australian Pesos???

I had mine done by a local (as in Australia) trimmer - I wanted an easy swap (my Spyder had LWB as well) - so had foams made as well - he also made me storage bags....

He is considered one of the best in the game down here (also trimmed my LWB to match the deviate red stitching of the 18 ways) - happy to put you in touch with him.....

Might be worth it?

Placek's pricing is sky high but his work does look great and I really like the woven leather + grommet Singer-style inserts he does.

I agree w others - the Lemans plaid looks a bit loud esp w no other blue on the car to tie it in.

Another option if you haven't already considered is Classic FX - I think his silver Pepita 911R inserts are amazing - thinking about going that route myself.
