Default Folding Buckets and Seat Belts

Can't really find anything definitive so figured id ask, are the seatbelts at the bottom supposed to be bolted to the seat or to the B pillar? I've seen pictures showing both.

One end to the seat, and other end to the B pillar? Thats what I did I believe.

Not my picture I attached. Now I'm also curious what others do, and which way prevents damage to the bolsters.

Sorry to Hijack the thread but who's vehicle is this? This looks like the interior of the 997.2 GT3 RS I currently own. Especially with the seatbelts in the back.

My GT2 has the belts mounted to the seats, as pictured above. My Turbo had them mounted to the B pillar (comfort seats). You're probably fine either way, but I'm sticking with the factory setup.

Should be attached to the seat. Some more detail in this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...l#post18313458

Also, pic 35 here is a pretty good example. RS4.0 with low miles. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...-gt3-rs-4-0-8/

Folding buckets and fixed back buckets are bolted to the seat mount due to the design. Only the sofas are bolted to the B-pillar.
