Sell .2 GT3 to chase my .1 RS dream?

So, what about the Frog dream? Firstly, this won't be my last RS and the search continues for a green one. Secondly, I can always wrap the car with a perfect color match liquid wrap or vinyl wrap. What mattered to me was securing this car in this condition, with this history and at this price. The car looks better than my 6 month old 8k mi 992.

Nice! Great find. Jealous of the Clubsport package!

Thank you guys. Condition and history were a priority. Clubsport was a close second priority. The color, once I found out the green premium was $50-100k and considering wrap is an option, it became a distant third. I will keep looking for a frog though, with crossed fingers that I land on a lucky find. The one downside, and not sure it really is a downside, to this car is the irons, especially in the context of a highly spec'd car. This thing is carbon galore. More pics to come.

Greatest thing about a black car is that you can wrap it and it will never look tacky as whatever isn't wrapped is just black. It's not like wrapping my pumpkin in green.

Agreed. However, the car ended up being nicer than what I was aiming for and I'm changing my mind about wrapping it. I'll continue to look for a green car and might keep this one stock or change the accent color. It really doesn't matter. What matters is that I finally own a .1RS!

Difference between .1 and .2 frogs.
Facias, wing, and stickers make for a very different car.
Overall, .1 looks more balanced and proportioned.

That .2 needs graphics very badly.

For anyone fascinated with ST brakes, don't forget that I have a kit available that can give you a big head start.
Why not wrap the current 997.2 GT3 in kermit green instead of slate and finish the RS drivetrain modifications? I realize that seems rather obvious to state, but seems to be a great play. I'm actually trying to save someone money for a change!

It's your money, and it sounds like that's not a big issue. But for me, I'd rather drive the GT3 hard and put the extra money into something very different than the current 991.2 GT3. Maybe some combination of an air cooled 911, GT350R, Honda Type R or Mercedes AMG GT S

@Steve Theodore please DM me about your brakes. Funny you should mention wrapping the 3.8. I found what I thought was a frog on insta and it turns out it's a 7.1 3 with a wrap and an RS wing. Looks amazing and fooled me at first glance. I am considering keeping the 3.8 but there are a number of ideas flying around that I need to land. One of them is finding a high mile 3.8 RS and doing what I please without care for values.
@Moms_spaghetti really love Porsche and 911s. I don't have a need for something different but do get your point and I agree that it'll be nice to have something to drive with little care for miles/wear.
