Default 997.2 GT3 Arrived!

Good evening all - first time poster to the 997 GT3 forum. I've got a 997.2 GTS and 991.1 GTS and my dad decided to jump on the Porsche bandwagon and go all the way with a GT3.

This is an Australian delivered 2011 model, 2 previous owners (last one I am aware was a collector who moved it on for a 993 RS Clubsport). This is also a Clubsport spec which I am told is quite rare anywhere as most were touring models.

Looking forward to learning more about these machines - I already saw at my local cars and coffee this morning that this GT3 really gets a lot of attention from young and old (even kids who are not much older than this GT3!) - they seem to really appreciate the rarity of the 997.2 GT3. This gets way more attention than either of my GTSs (which really surprised me as the 997.2 GTS is a PTS Riviera Blue).

As my father isn't use to driving a manual, looks like I am going to have to drive it for now......

Beautiful car! I don't know the precise # of clubsports for 7.1 and 7.2s, but I'm fairly certain their comparatively rare to the comfort models.

Outstanding! I hope that your dad (and you) enjoy every mile with a huge smile. There is no other way to drive these amazing cars other than that!

Non-RS cars didn't come with the plexiglass rear window as far as I'm aware. Clubsports also came with prep for a battery kill switch (but the switch itself was an additional cost to have placed in the car).
