Default 997.2 GT2 RS exterior quarter panel rear air ducts?

Hey all,

I'd like to get a set of the GT2 RS style of rear quarter panel intercooler ducts (exterior pieces for body) and am not too ashamed to say I really cannot afford or justify the OEM versions of that part.

Reference for OEM or high quality aftermarket:
https://shop.db-carbon-interieur.de/...ducts/1093G2RS

I found this brand, which I've never even heard of so am immediately skeptical, but does anyone have experience with these or any other aftermarket brand I could consider?

Thanks for the space!

Those overboosts don't look that good. The OEM's are amazing looking.

You are not wrong, but the idea of spending something like $4500 on those two small parts is beyond my wildest dreams. I can have whatever I buy wrapped to match my already wrapped hood and rear wing trailing edge too, so there is that thought.

I just took a look at the Gt2 and Gt2 RS. So the RS doesn't have a splitter in the middle. I get it now. I'm also going to assume that both are wide bodies.

Here's a place called Car Gym. They look nice.

I'd look around and get a set that isn't shiny and doesn't have sharp angles if not OEM. They seem to look the best

Thank you @RAudi Driver I had not found that one yet. I think that's the limit for what I'd like to pay too, so it's probably the right one for me. Much appreciated bud.

THE Competition Motorsports ones look nice too. It appears that they make a lot of carbon for different makes. Maybe cruise the Ferrari or other marque forums for people who have purchased.

It appears that they are sold out, but I'll inquire for sure to see what may be possible. Ironically I was volunteering at a PCA fund raising event today and there was a black 997.1 GT2 with RS ducts so I took quite a few photos of them. I don't know whose car it was so I couldn't ask if they were OEM or aftermarket parts, but they looked very nice.

Interestingly, having just been through a custom vinyl wrap on my GT2 where the OEM ducts were removed as part of that process, it became obvious that the central duct 'divider' also exists below the ducts as continuation into the intake tract. So, just getting a pair of OEM or aftermarket RS style ducts won't solve the entire problem of having a smooth flowing intake tract. I'm unclear how to resolve the rest of the hurdle, so am now more curious what people actually do in order to comprehensively install the OEM RS style ducts.
