Default My 2008 GT3 Allocation Available

For reasons that I won't go into on this public forum (but happy to discuss privately), I have decided not to purchase my ordered 2008 GT3. It is probably about 1-2 weeks away from arriving new at the dealer. It is white with minimal options (stereo upgrade, seat crests, leather steering wheel, xenons, fire extinguisher, mats).

The dealer has a line of people wanting a GT3, but he agreed to let me replace myself first with a friend. If there is anyone on Rennlist interested in this car, please PM me. Please only serious inquiries.

NOTE:

I am not asking for any $/fee for this allocation, or getting anything from the dealer. I am not interested in profiting from this situation whatsoever, just want to give a Rennlister first shot at the car. My only requirement -- I have first right to repurchase the car if you ever decide to sell

hey CJ... as you can imagine, I am pretty bummed about the GT3...

as far as RS4 --

1) engine is fantastic...more so than even expected, and the car is silly fast
2) gearbox very snickety, happy with the action, although clutch is a little light
3) interior quality is excellent, as expected, I think Audi has the best interiors of the German makers
4) not a fan of the sport button, but do like the throatier exhaust note

in terms of the drive, it definitely feels heavy... but I have been really impressed with the pull from the engine... I cannot imagine a more fun 4 door w/trunk to drive. I drove the M5 extensively and actually preferred the RS4

Wait, you're threatening capitalism by not charging what the market will bear...

i dont know Paul...how did you know? because i couldnt decide what color or options to order 3 months ago?... i remember you giving me a hard time then, for whatever reason...

i am passing on the car due to some family issues... not something that you (or I) could have possibly known about, so maybe you care to elaborate?...

jonathon, i applaud u stepping out of the way without profit for someone else to enjoy the car. if i didn't already commit to that other toy, i would have taken your car.... damn, my loss.
