Default Look What Happened to this RS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This goes back to the saying, "you get what you pay for". A previous customer of ours purchased a green RS from us and decided that the clear bra on the car needs to be redone. We gladly took the job. As you can all see, the gaps & orange peel texture to film,

Our installation pictures covering the entire panels in one piece so that seams are minimal.

This is why it is so important to check for references when it comes to this type of work. Do not base your decision solely on pricing as the newest to the industry has the least amount of experience and drawing customers in through pricing to gain this type of experience.

Apparently not if you get a bad one. I'll take a few rock chips any day over multiple razor wounds.

great work sam!!! im gonna take a bet thats mikymu's RS

tcsracing1 - yes.. its really worth it. i got a few dings in my clear bra which didnt break the paint. without the clear bra, i would have rock chips all over the front end of the bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors.

I'd be pissed off as hell if that happened to me! Did the owner get a refund? That's beyond **** poor. Great job as always Premier. I have a Black Series that I will be bringing by to you guys very soon. Those who don't know about Premier, these guys are probably the best in their business. Go Premier

yes. they protect the nose and hood for about 60 track days. after that you should replace them. part of this is i get very close to the car in front of me so i get sandblasted.

Why replace them?
Mine is covered and some of the edges have some dirt under them, but it still protects the paint no?
The OEM side covers are getting yellow, but the bra is still clear, although very scratched from getting all the rubber off..

It just depends on how bad it gets damaged (the film), and how much you care.

To me, clear film is the greatest invention for protecting your cars finish; and if done correctly, it can be undetectable.

I recently used some rubbing compound to try and remove very stobbern rubber marks from the track day... well let me tell you... clear bra does not respond well to that... is smudged / skuffed the clear bra finish... leaving visible blemish in it's finish... :-(
Be gentle with your bra when detailing the car...
I also did a couple on the upper side of the hood not covered with the bra, and it seems to have done the same thing to the clear coat finish of the paint... it's very small, but I know its there.. any suggestion on how to restore small clear coat blemish to an unscratched look?

for stubborn rubber marks, i use a light polish with a pc orbital. buffs right out.
for light scratch, i left it to the pros @ premier. they used a heat gun.
