GT3 /997 PRICES
I believe the pricing of all 911 have gotten out of hand. You now pay over a $100 grand for almost all 911 with any accessories at all.
I know after owning 11 different Porsches I'm out priced.

2007 GT3 market prices right now are 83-120K depending on options and mileage.
997 (non turbo, GT2,3) are all over the board. You can find an option S 06-08 range below 100K and aa C2 05-08 from 38K to 55K....

You would have to be cursed with a very unfortunate mind set not see that for the fortunate Porsche owners and new buyers who can maintain their previous incomes, this is the best of times.

^ OK, but how exactly does this surprise you? Name a comparable marque where pricing has dropped. Why should Porsche (as a mfgr) be any different. Not trying to be obtuse here, but I don't understand your point. Do you believe Porsche's present products not worthy of their pricing levels (comparatively speaking to other mfgr's products of course as I too do not wish to spend a $ more than I have to ) ??

I chalk it up to inflation.
I live in Canada so I don't know US pricing, but when I look in my local paper and see the msrp of loaded pickup trucks starting to hit $70,000 for a Ford F350 and a new GT3 starts at $138,000, then it's all the same to me. Back in the day all vehicles were cheaper, but then our salaries were most likely lower too.
Cheers,

heard about a brand new 2009, highly optioned C4S deal for $25K off MSRP, I don't think that is atypical so there are some really great deals in relative terms out there for serious buyers. Its still a big number for most people regardless of the discount offered off MSRP.

I agree with Billy - iI had sticker shock a the dealer the other day. The cars are getting faster with more cush options available to bloat stickers, but in general a decent S is over 100K. Personally I don't see the value is there to support that level of pricing, but it does make the Gt3 seem like a bargain!!

997 GT3
Anyone want to buy my 2007 997 GT3?
I have 10 months left with Porsche financial. You could buy directly from them or assume the last ten months of my lease and then purchase.
I have 27,000 miles on the clock. You could try the car for 10 months and then give back to Porsche. Would be a nice way of trying the car before committing.

Billy I bought a new C2s with PDK for $20K off. The C4Ss with 110K MSRP were going in the mid 80's
dont know if that helps you but it made me make a move. Of course if the test drive hadnt blown me away
I wouldnt have bought it. It's better than my Manthey 996 GT3.
