My 2010 GT3 RS Order placed today!

Storage Lid Alcantara w/Porsche Logo
Center Console painted Grey/Black
Dynamic Cornering Lights
Painted Light Washer Nipples
Carrara White Gauges
Sound Package Plus
Audio Interface

I debated on the front end lift and ultimately decided against it. I can buy a lot of spoilers for the price of the lift.
No word on delivery date. Dealer said looks like a December build. I can hardly wait!

Ahhhh, Changed my mind and ordered the lift too.

I would get the lift kit...the front spoiler looks like shit when it gets scraped. On my 4th front spolier in my RS!

Very nice options, I like it. If I would not be so cheap and would have a longer commute I would spec it just like that! December build date ?! WOW.

I also ordered yesterday, I just received my Pro Forma Invoice.
Mine has a May build date and is allocation #2 of the only 2 the dealer received.
Hopefully Euro Delivery in May / June 2010. It probably will not be here until September, I will keep it in Europe as long as possible.
#1 had a March has a build date.

I ordered:
-White / red requested silver wheels if they can take all the red stuff off and replace with black or white. No answer yet probably not possible. Doubt it, so probaly will arrive white / red.
-Requested the decals off the car.
-Less = more but I cannot do without A/C and crappy radio.
-I also kept Xenon, so front spray nozzles painted (Since they don't delete the washersystem if you want to keep Xenon.) I have non xenon lights now and the light is OK, but increases and decreases with idling engine. I might need an alternator, so I might change my mind after I bring my car for service next week. Xenon will be nice for night DE events either way.
-Floor mats
-Blue tooth (I have crappy FM reception)
-Audio interface (I have crappy FM reception)

Anybody have an idea why my dealer would say he isn't getting allocations until approx Nov 17th? Reading the good fortune of my boardmates placing orders and I am feeling stuck in the cold

Anyone else in the same boat?

Yup, in the same boat as you - waiting for the call. Technically, allocations weren't supposed to come out until November, so who knows?

I think that you are correct!

Dealers may be playing with folks getting their ducks in a row.

Unless and until you have a proforma invoice in hand you really don't have diddly squat!!!

My dang driveway is so steep that I think even with the lift Ill scrape...so what's the point?

Mine says that they will not know till 3rd week Nov. Also I checked with a very large dealer in Tx and they have no allocation yet... So we wait
