Unhappy 2 dead in GT3 RS in germany

Today at 11am a green Porsche GT3-RS lost control and came from the street and crash into a tree. The 39 year old driver and his 40 year old wife dead directly....... very sad and best wishes to teir families...... I have to say that they had to be very fast..... the car looks so bad. And it looks like it had a cage.

Here is the link......

New information: "The car bounced off the left side, first against the means of protection plank flung, then over all three lanes and the acceleration in the exit lane before the vehicle crashed against a tree and broke in two."

Dangerous!

Should all be mindful of the velocity of which we drive!

looks like the car hit the tree "side-on" as opposed to front/rear collision, and that "cut" the car in 1/2, there is relatively little protection for such an impact point compared to front/rear ...

I hope their end was quick and that they did not suffer ...

One can only imagine the speed they were traveling. Very sad and more of a reason to leave speeding on the track where most stationary objects are block off with railing and tires.
