Is this the style you have in mind? I don't know if anyone makes a wheel tie down for the 997 GT3, GT3RS and Turbo center lock wheel. It is completly different than the Cup car setup. I will do some searching for you.

I talked to my brother about it. We will have to talk with Dave and see what we can come up with. That would be pretty slick to have a set of 4 center lock nuts with tie strap hoops integrated into them. If anybody can do it, they can!

i bought the LAST one of those big rods you posted....
should be here in a week.

definitely work on the centerlock tie down wrings. i am in for a set. it's not easy to get under the car to hook the tire straps. this makes it easy...

Very cool Mr Mooty!

They will be making a second batch of big red rods soon, just waiting to get some orders filled.

Not the clamp style, the threaded style.

Even more important is some steel centerlock nuts. Porsche and Porsche Motorsport do not offer the nut in steel.

How Porsche is campaigning the Nurburgring 24hr with aluminum nuts, I can't explain. Maybe they just blow off the nuts with a rattle gun, then torque new nuts with a hand wrench so they don't explode? In nay case, while I love the centerlocks, they're just too cool, I'm disappointed to see Porsche AG just hasn't finished thinking it all through before bringing the cars to market -- especially the track-oriented GT cars.

Maybe I need to talk to McLaren about a track car ... : ) ... anybody got a contact there for US "early adopter" customers? : )
