Hey guys. Posted this over in the general forum, but realized it probably fit here best:

XPEL is introducing a new matte paint protection film to the aftermarket. The company is looking for an enthusiast to bring their beautiful sportscar to our HQ in San Antonio where we are going to cover the entire car from nose to spoiler in our removeable new film. XPEL will pick the best submission of a car by 6/20/2010 and notify the owner within 24 hours of the deadline via email. Our new XPEL STEALTH clear matte film will give your car a similar look to a matte vinyl wrap except it is paint protection film. The upside is you get the matte look similar to the vinyl product but your paint will be protected as well.

We will be using this car to be showcased in the media and we will distrubute before and after photographs to the press.

We are looking for the following:

A new high-end sportscar
Car must be delivered to San Antonio
The car's paint must not be damaged in any way
Send at least 3 high resolution digital photos of your car

Hmmm....tempting, but I not sure. I have an RS in Austin and I am wondering what the Grey Black would look like matted.

If you want, I can send you a swatch of film, squeegee and instructions to try it out. You can just pull it off when you are done...it won't hurt anything. I'm guessing that color would probably be just about perfect. Would look like a stealth fighter!

I hear ya. Many of the manufacturers are starting to offer matte paint as an option too. Wish we could have had it on the market sooner! Better late than never though, right?

it'd be awesome. I'm going to be picking up a nose kit in the matte finish for my truck next week. I'll put up some shots of how well it blends with a true matte paint.
