Default Rear Rotor Options

My rears have cracked to the edge

Pfc does not make a rear slotted rotor yet

What other slotted options exist, oem pad shape only

I have just swapped my ceramics on my 2010 rs out to the new slotted brembo type 3 package. Sharkwerks.

The exchange and installation was quite simple except for the complicated tools and procedure with the center lock nut.

As for feel now at 50 miles, the ceramics stop and feel tighter than the steel rotors and p29 pads. I need to seat them in a little better and this is on the street only -- not the track.

I have looked at Brembo, $2k for rears is pricy for me

OEM holed are $995 from Suncoast.....just trying to find other options

Try PFC08 pads if you get a chance, better than Pagid

Stoptech DRK rotors and Girodisc......should be around $1,200 per pair.

You going to Sebring on the 5th?

Did not think of that

I will wait for PFC

My last rear rotors lasted 4255 track miles / 28 days and some street miles that don't count. If I get 28 days out of a new set of rears Im good. Not sure any $2,00 reat rotor will make it over 50 days

This is mostly Sebring time too.....you will soon learn how rough Sebring is on brakes

Why are the rears so expensive on the .2? I think the rears on my car are under $350. I just replaced them a couple months ago.

Because your car is old and out of date......it cost money to have new technology

I am impatiently counting down the days till you run out of $150 RA1's. Not only will your rotors cost 3x as much as my car, but you'll be paying full price for tires like the rest of us.

I wonder what cheater dynamic engine mounts or cheater stability control units cost to R&R out of warranty

With your baller racing budget, you should pick up a spare key. I'll hold it at the track for you. Just in case...

I am getting really shocked as to how well my rear rotors are wearing. I have over 20 track days, 17k miles and I barely have any cracks on the rear rotors. The few cracks I do have are 1-2 mm coming off the center holes. I would recommend to just stick with the OEM rears as they last so long. This is my opposite opinion as the fronts that seem to crack far too prematurely.

+1 on the rears.

I only took them to 15 days and they probably have another 15 days in them.

Not sure I agree with you on the fronts. I have two sets of fronts as backup with 15 days on them, but both probably have 2/3 more weekends in them. Not bad if you calulate $ per track day. The PFC rotors will last at least 20 days, but I have to see if they will last materially longer then OEM.

Both of my 2 sets of front rotors were cracking bad at 7 track ddays. At 15 track days they are cracked so bad they are structurally unsafe. Rears are nothing like this. Going aftermarket rotors makes easy cents for the front due to the additional life.
