LI Battery Dead
I have a RS with the LI battery. I typically take the key out and toss it on the floor. Recently, I have been taking the key out and locking the car. A few days ago I left the key in the ignition. Now the car is so dead, I can't remove the key. can't pop the trunk, etc.
I plugged a trickle charger in 4 hours ago and nothing still. Not even a click. Its a Porsche trickle charger from a few years ago....do I need a special one??
Any suggestions??

DO NOT attempt pulling key out, youw ill destroy it. i did
DO NOT ever again leave key in ignition, it will ALWAYS kill your batt.
open the door. get a jumper, negative to door striker, positive to the terminal in the fuse panel near clutch (if you can't find it, read the manual, hard to explain over internet).
once you connect to jumper and have juice, you can open the front hood via regular method.
once opened, jump the car throught the battery, not the door and fuse termial. when you connect jumper to the battery, the key will turn.

Sometime you need to wait couple minutes before you can unlock the trunk depends on jumper battery power

Porsche trickle charger is way underpowered to recharge a dead battery (unless you have a couple of weeks )

The whole process is a real pain in the ***.
Thank God, I didn't force the key out !
Now, when I think I'm leaving my RS parked longer than a week, I flip the battery power switch and leave my hood unclicked !
