I received the plastic ring today from my dealer. It fits over the filler neck not tightly and can be rotated around but was assured it will not fall off with the cap off. My service writer said it's for now a Porsche test part with no part number at the moment. The rings are being handed out as needed to customers with filling issues. I'll post back on my next fill if it works or not.
