It appears that you can not retrofit.
Looking, there is no extra pigtail to plug into mounts.
The wire goes straight into the loom.
Pics show Std. & DEM

Mine has a pigtail plug on both L/R sides that is not plugged into anything and zip tied so as to not to dangle. Perhaps for something else, but raises the question and keeps hope alive.

I think if Porsche would give the definitive answer to this question, some of those "stale" GT3s would fly off the shelf.
Imagine how good the guys who buy them (stale ones, at a discount) will feel if it is upgradable.

Mine has the the same set up and was a June build here on the first boat to Baltimore. So, it looks like its pre-wired which is very good news.

Pigtails must have been added with 9/09 prod and beyond.
Early cars prior to 9/09 may be out of luck
The retail price for the Dynamic Engine Mounts are: $970 ea.
You will have to have them activated with a dealers PIWIS if in fact the pigtails are for DEM.
So who is first in line??

I have a June 10, 2009 build date and also have these wires. I am just not sold on the mounts for my purposes. I will not daily drive my 3 that much. I am thinking of just throwing on the stiffer engine mounts and calling it a day. Before all this I am going to put some type of a cage in the 3, probably just a half cage in the back for now. Then the next thing on my wish list is another set of wheels, and then.........$.$.$...........
For those with mixed street/track use it would be a perfect option. I will be interested in what those who KNOW THE DIFFERENCE will say about the DEMs.
Maybe MJones will give us his observations shortly!

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't the first 2010's with the mounts just hitting the US shores about now?
Anyone hear any reports on them from Europe?
Anybody here strongly opposed to them for some reason?

I have them but haven't driven one without so hard to say definitively. I'm definitely not opposed to them. I'm also not going to concoct some story about how wonderful they are and I can tell exactly when they adjust. The car is great on the roads, and very crisp on the track but you would have to compare '10 GT3 with and without to get a good feel since the suspension is so different from the MKI or anything else.
